We are most grateful for your writing with IVP. Without our authors, our mission to publish Christian books that are true to the Bible and that communicate the gospel, develop discipleship and strengthen the church for its mission throughout the world would be impossible. IVP is unique among significant British evangelical publishers in that we are a charity. Any surpluses that we make are reinvested in creating the very best evangelical books for readers of all levels from non-Christians and new Christians through to pastors and academics.
IVP is having an encouraging time. To choose three highlights: one of our most popular titles from last year, Journey With Me by Catherine Campbell, has just been shortlisted for Book of the Year in the Christian Resources Together Awards; we have just published five short books by John Stott and Tim Chester in the Contemporary Christian series, which are doing very well; and 2020 sees IVP move into Bibles, with the launch of our new NIV Bible Speaks Today Bible and our new ESV Search The Scriptures Bible.
Despite these encouragements, we know there is more we can do, and one of our key priorities this year is reviewing how we work with authors throughout the process to improve your experience.
